Indie Supporter Spotlight: March 2023

Welcome to this month’s Indie Supporter Spotlight!

A few years ago we had the really clever idea to set up an indie game community with no funding. Fortunately, we have a bunch of lovely people who us on Patreon and make all of this possible.

Every month, we like to update our readers on what some of our Gold Tier Patrons are up to.

Stasis Booth Games

Stasis Booth Games is one of our new patrons so we’d like to take the time to introduce them and show you what they’re working on.

The Australian studio is working on We Are Not Alone, a horror game that’s played in both first-person and third-person modes. This is possible because the player sees the world through a video camera and to solve certain puzzles, they’ll have to place the camera down, leaving them vulnerable.

It’s due to be released at the end of this year, so add it to your wishlist!

PlayTest Kit

You may remember Playtest Kit from our previous Indie Supporter Spotlights. This month, we have some great news from them.

Steve Bromley, the mastermind behind the kit and an expert in games user research, is also offering the new playtesting course for free.

The video course, which is usually $29, can help you define, find, and attract high-quality playtesters.

Be in the Next Supporter Spotlight

The Supporter Spotlight is just one of the ways we thank the people who support us. It’s thanks to this support that Indie Bandits can celebrate independent games as much as we do.

If you’d like your game or project to be featured in an upcoming article, support us on Patreon or buy us a coffee to show us that you appreciate what we do for indie game devs.

We’re planning to do even more to help indie devs in 2023 and every supporter we have helps us to continue celebrating independent games.
